Why We Exist

We exist to build bridges of peace and understanding across cultural and religious divides, offering accessible training in world religions, interfaith chaplaincy, and community dialogue to heal societal polarization.

Our Community Dedication

Headquartered in Honolulu, Hawaii, the International Academy For Interfaith Studies is a 501(c)(3) educational and spiritual nonprofit founded by Thomas D. Lynch and Dr. Cynthia E. Lynch. We offer foundational and advanced curricula exploring the world's major spiritual traditions, prepare dedicated candidates for interfaith ministerial ordination, and host public symposia grounded in Hawaii's enduring multicultural heritage of Aloha. Our programs empower community leaders, counselors, and peacebuilders to serve with empathy, intellectual rigor, and profound ethical stewardship.
